The Capitol University Library, established in 1971 alongside the founding of Cagayan Capitol College (now Capitol University), began as a modest collection to support the institution's early academic programs. As the university expanded, the library grew in size, diversifying its collections to include resources for various disciplines such as health sciences, engineering, law, and business. By the late 20th century, the library had undergone significant modernization, adopting computerized cataloging systems and providing access to global academic databases. In addition to its traditional book collections, it introduced e-books, multimedia resources, and research tools to meet the demands of 21st-century learners. Over the years, the library has become a dynamic center for academic research, collaboration, and
learning, offering spaces for students to engage with digital
resources, group study, and community-building. Today,
the Capitol University Library stands as a cornerstone of the university, fostering academic excellence, innovation, and lifelong learning, while preserving a rich legacy of found
educational support for generations of students.
